This event will benefit Galveston Lifeguarding Association’s National Competition Team as well as the Jr. Lifeguard Team that will be competing at the United States Lifesaving Association’s National Lifeguard Competition in August. Proceeds also benefit the Galveston Island Beach Patrol Junior Lifeguard Scholarship program and other special projects of Galveston Lifeguarding Association including the Beach Wheelchair Program, Survivor Support Network and others.

Meet us at the Pressbox (24th and Postoffice), June 22, 2012 for mouth watering BBQ and all the fixings head the menu, made by the Galveston Island Football Rugby Team. There will be live entertainment from the Brandon McDermott Band as well. A silent auction will be conducted from 6:00-9:00pm.

Tickets for this event will go on sale Memorial Day Weekend from any Galveston Island Beach Patrol Lifeguard or Junior Lifeguard.

This is a fun event for the entire family. So come out, eat some great Bar-B-Q have a great time with the members of Galveston Lifeguarding Association and their families!
