Galveston Lifeguarding Association
The Galveston Lifeguarding Association is the Gulf Coast Region Chapter of the United States Lifesaving Association. Our mission is to promote water safety throughout our region. The GLA provides water safety materials destributed to beach patrons, rescue equipment not covered by GIBP budget, scholarships for the Junior Lifeguard Program, and scholarships for college students.
