Located on the island’s west end at 11745 FM 3005 at 9 Mile Road, Sand Castle Beach includes an educational wetlands preserve, beach access points, and public parking.

Hours of operation subject to change, weather permitting.

Beach Guidelines and Amenities:

• Alcohol Permitted.
• Located at FM3005 and 9 mile road.
• Pavilion provides restrooms, showers and concessions. Umbrella and chair rental available.
• There are no lifeguards in this area. Periodic lifeguard and security mobile patrol from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
• $8/car parking fee.
• Beach wheelchairs available.
