Alcohol Prohibited on the sand and on the Seawall.
Lifeguard towers are stationed close to the rock jetties, where rip currents are known to form.
There are “No Swimming Areas” on both sides of the rock jetties due to rip currents, underwater debris, rocks, fishhooks, etc.
Lifeguards staff this beach from Memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend. It is recommended to swim in areas protected by lifeguards.
Designated boat launch site at 29th and Seawall. Trailer cannot be left on the shoreline, and vehicle cannot be left on the sand (must be parked on the Seawall).
Boogie board, umbrella and chair rentals available at most beaches. Surfboard rentals available at some locations. Food concessionaires available at some beaches. Port-o-let toilets at various locations along Seawall.
No parking fees.

In the summer months, surfing is allowed between the Flagship pier and 53rd street. These are called “multi-use areas” and permit surfboards, hard-bottomed boogie boards, wind and kite surfers, and other hard-bottomed craft.
